At Frontier Ag Aviation, we want to earn your business!
Frontier Ag, Inc started its Aerial Application Division back in 1998, with the acquisition of Holzmeister Ag. which was located at Oakley Municipal Airport. The aircraft included a Piper Brave 300 and an Airtractor 301.
- In 1999, Aviation purchased an Airtractor 401, and sold its Piper Brave. In 2008, it traded its 301 for a new Airtractor 401, and in 2010, Aviation had both aircraft converted to turbine engines.
- In 2012, Aviation added a third aircraft, an Airtractor 602. In 2013, Frontier Ag purchased Koch Ag, out of Cheyenne Wells, Colo., and built a new hangar and facility, complete with aviation repair shop, and mechanic in Goodland KS, near Frontier Ag's headquarters. With the purchase of the new Colorado location, came another Airtractor 402.
- In 2015, KB Sprayers, of Scott City KS was purchased, in addition to a second Airtractor 602. Frontier Ag also began operating the FBO on the Scott City Airport, operating a full-service Aircraft mechanic shop, with a full-time aviation mechanic.
Frontier Ag currently owns 4 locations, serving Goodland, Oakley, Scott City and surrounding areas, and Cheyenne Wells, Colorado and the surrounding area. The aviation division also sends its pilots to assist other operations in Kansas, Nebraska, and Colorado.
