Spring 2018. Working in the shop adding Tripidity ST to corn.
Field showing nitrogen deficiency. The bottom leaves that are yellow shows the plants are cannibalizing the nitrogen from the bottom leaves.
The same field with nitrogen deficiency looking down the row.
Close up of the same nitrogen deficient field.
This field was sprayed prior to planting with Bellum, Atrazine, RT3, and Weedmaster. Followed by Bellum, Roundup, and Metal ATZ.
Close up of the clean field.
This field was sprayed with 2-4d a little late. You can see how you can get some tie up of the heads. This field has very little of the problem but it shows the symptoms well.
This grower is getting 2 ears on each stalk. The field was planted at 12,000 population and has been lucky to have gotten a lot of rain.
This field was not sprayed for Western Bean Cutworm and has a worm in nearly every year. This clearly shows we need to scout our fields and spray if needed. These little critters are taking a bit out of the yield already.
